From Mine to Masterpiece

Our Process

At New Quality Marble we control every stage of the journey — from mining and block selection to precision cutting, resin treatment, and final polish. This end-to-end ownership allows us to guarantee the consistency, purity, and finish that premium architectural projects demand.

Our Manufacturing Process

At New Quality Marble we believe in delivering the highest quality marble and granite to our clients. That belief is backed by a vertically integrated manufacturing operation — one where we personally oversee Mining, Manufacturing, and Supply, both domestically across India and internationally.

Step 01

Receipt of Raw Marble Blocks

Premium marble blocks are sourced directly from our partner quarries and carefully unloaded at our facility using heavy-lift gantry cranes. Each block — weighing several tonnes — is catalogued, inspected for grade, and allocated to the appropriate processing line based on its natural characteristics.

Dressing & Squaring the Block
02
Step 02

Dressing & Squaring the Block

Before sawing, each block is dressed on all sides by skilled operators using precision dressing equipment. This stage removes surface irregularities, natural defects, and uneven edges, ensuring the block meets the exact dimensions required for the intended slab thickness and width.

Block Reinforcement
03
Step 03

Block Reinforcement

Dressed blocks undergo a critical reinforcement stage prior to gang-sawing. A fibre-glass net and semi-solid reinforcement compound are applied to the exterior faces of the block, then left to cure for a minimum of 24 hours. This pre-treatment dramatically reduces slab breakage during the high-tension sawing process.

Gang-Saw Cutting
04
Step 04

Gang-Saw Cutting

Reinforced blocks are mounted on precision gang-saw trolleys and secured with timber wedges and a plaster mix to maintain a perfect angle. The gang saw's array of blades slices through the block simultaneously, producing consistent 20 mm or 30 mm slabs in a single pass — maximising yield and dimensional accuracy.

Net Reinforcement of Slabs
05
Step 05

Net Reinforcement of Slabs

Freshly cut slabs receive a fibre-glass net laminated to their back face. This protective layer strengthens otherwise fragile slabs, enabling safe handling, stacking, and international transportation without risk of cracking. The net is cleanly removed by the customer prior to installation.

Grinding & Resin Treatment
06
Step 06

Grinding & Resin Treatment

Slabs pass through our automated grinding line for the first stage of surface refinement, then proceed to our state-of-the-art RES resin treatment plant. A precisely mixed resin and hardener compound fills any natural micro-fissures or pores, which is then lapped smooth to enhance structural integrity and deliver the glass-like surface finish our clients expect.

Polishing & Quality Inspection
07
Step 07

Polishing & Quality Inspection

Each treated slab passes through our Breton polishing machine — producing a deep, mirror-quality finish that brings out the full colour and veining of the stone. Every slab is then individually inspected by our quality team against our grading standards before being cleared for stock or bespoke order fulfilment.

Warehousing & Dispatch
08
Step 08

Warehousing & Dispatch

Approved slabs are assigned unique identifiers, catalogued in our inventory system, and stored in our climate-stable warehouse in vertical A-frame racks to prevent warping. Orders are carefully packed in purpose-built wooden crates with foam padding, then dispatched via our logistics partners to destinations across India and worldwide.
